The Magic Behind the Letters

Hi, we’re Cat and Racquel—the writers, readers, and ritual-makers behind Letters from the Cards.
 
Cat began reading tarot in 2020, drawn to the cards as both anchor and mirror during a time of upheaval. Though a lifelong witch and believer in unseen truths, it was through writing tarot readings like letters—to herself and others—that a deeper practice of reflection, insight, and healing took root. Over time, those letters revealed more than just answers—they became doorways.
 
Racquel entered Cat’s life in 2024 and began her own spiritual journey after witnessing how each reading resonated with striking clarity. Her intuitive connection deepened alongside her mental recognition and understanding of principles drawn from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which now inform and enrich her approach to tarot and emotional insight. Watching the cards land so precisely in the lives of others sparked something powerful—and soon, Racquel was reading, studying, and creating alongside Cat.
 
Together, we launched Letters from the Cards in 2025 as a shared offering: a space for slow magic, gentle truth, and sacred correspondence. Our readings are crafted like letters—intuitive, poetic, and trauma-informed—rooted in symbolism, ritual, and deep care for the souls we read for.
 
We each cultivate unique, personal relationships with our tarot decks, treating them as collaborators in our spiritual work. We're also in the process of creating our own deck—infused with lived experience, spiritual symbolism, and emotional insight—featuring original cards like The Mirrorbreaker and The Rememberer, born from our real-life transformations.
 

This isn’t just a space for receiving a reading. Letters from the Cards is an invitation into ritual, reflection, and connection — with yourself, with the cards, and with others walking this path.
